AMBRA products are available from David Jones, Myer, independent boutiques & fashion retail stores nationally.
As I am sure you all know by now, I have been a huge fan of anything AMBRA for quite some time. From their amazing hosiery selection, which forever feeds my ongoing obsession with all things fishnet, lacy and pattered, to their high-quality, fashion-forward lingerie items – that totally bring a whole new meaning to ‘underwear’.
In collaboration with TheRaces.com.au – the hottest new fashion and lifestyle destination for all things RACES, I wanted to share with you the beauty essentials that I pack inside my bag for the day.
First things first, you need a bag. Not just any bag. The bag has to match your outfit, compliment your shoes, and be big enough to fit a bunch of stuff but small enough that it does not inconvenience your race-day-existence. Tricky I know. For this crazy bag contradiction, I recommend a slightly oversized clutch (brownie points if it comes with a cross-body chain strap) in the designer variety. I’ve picked the Givenchy Antigona Envelope Leather Clutch by Cosette.com.au.
Having only just gotten back from Noosa early this week, settling back into Melbourne-freezing-cold-life has been somewhat of a struggle and as such, I plan to live vicariously through my own images for the next – say – 3 to 5 months – just until my frosty fingers have regained heat* and/or the sunshine comes back in Melbourne – whatever comes first will do.
First things first, I have officially FINISHED EXAMS = aka the crazy-library/law-induced-madness is over. No more sleepless nights or cramming study situations – well until next semester – but we shall cross that 73643-page-taxation-law-textbook-bridge when we get there – until then – I’ve been celebrating all sorts of little victories with late night ice-cream runs and funky outfit combos.
From suburbia strolling to outfit-of-the-day shooting, this weekend was all kinds of good times. My babe-of-a-best friend/fellow-culinary-adventurist Katarina and I headed down to Mr. Miyagi in Chapel st, Windsor for a night of Japanese-fusion dining and white chocolate cold drip espresso Martini sipping [best in town just FYI]. With a line out the door and around the corner, literally (and I actually mean literally), 7 nights a week, this place really is da best for all things modern, delicious and cheeky, as #MrMSays.
GOOD EVENING! Just swinging by real quick, pre Supernormal date night feed, to share with you a few snaps from the weekend that was. Yesterday my ridiculously fashionable mum and I, headed down to Bourke Street Mall David Jones for the launch of The Daily Edited. Somewhere in between coffee-ing and shopping, we picked out a couple of monogrammed bits & pieces (early Mothers Day present?). I fell for this blush, envelope-inspired body cross purse and just about everything else on offer at their new store… but that’s a story for another day. Meanwhile, the weather seems to have dropped about a hundred degrees over night, so I’ve begun layering accordingly. I feel this winter I’ll be all about this patterned mini-skirt, over-the-knee-boot, big black neck bow situation – give or take another layer or five.
GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! For today’s media launch, flower pick-up & acai bowl situation (courtesy of Green Cup), I was unintentionally channelling all sorts of ‘Greece-lightening’-vibes, with this off the shoulder Pasduchas blush top and high waisted black skinny jeans. I went with a minty green Reebok sneaker from Glue Store to add a point of difference and my personalised black bucket bag from The Daily Edited to bring the look together… that and well, I carry everything (…yes, including the kitchen sink) in my bag, so the oversized bucket aspect is all kinds of necessary.
GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! Just swinging by to share with you my little look of the day. With Melbourne’s warm weather coming to a halt, I figured it was time to rip out (#PUNS) the ripped jeans, chuck on a tee, funky boots & an oversized navy blazer and call it a day… or something like that. Either way, when offered to collaborate with Target Australia again this month, I couldn’t go past this oversized-mum-jean-inspired situation. In fact, I love my newest trendy threads so much, I’m tempted to go back and grab a second pair, especially given the ridiculously reasonable PRICE (less than $50 AUD… I repeat, LESS THAN $50 AUD… Run, don’t walk).
ANYWAYS… VAMFF is done & dusted; it’s time to metaphorically jump back into university life. Sigh. Back to [law-life] reality, but until then – stay tuned for a big VAMFF outfit/runway wrap up… You’ve been warned.
