VAMFF – Personal Style

VAMFF for me is always about wearing a slightly more elevated, interesting version of what I would usually just wear on a daily basis. If you’ve been following me for a while you’d know my personal style could best be described as relatively effortless, not overly put together, and usually somewhat minimal (but also not really…). I guess you could say it is hard to explain. Mainly because it varies from day to day, but the fundamental elements of it never change and I barely ever sway from the shapes/colours and patterns that I’ve tried and tested over many years (…and many failed outfits). I see VAMFF mainly as an opportunity to wear the new jacket I hadn’t yet had a chance to wear, as opposed to a week where I put together a bunch of outfits that have all been gifted and loaned to me by various brands. Although there will always be an element of gifting/sponsored products involved as, well, this is my full time job, I think keeping a strong element of personal style in all my looks is key to making me feel the most comfortable in what is a crazy long and often ridiculously tiring week. In saying that, VAMFF is easily one of my favourite weeks of the year. I get to catch up with all my fellow fashun friends, sip champagne on a Wednesday and live/breathe fashion – yaaaas.

Anyways, I am planning on doing a little ‘day in the life’ shot on film blog post this week too for something a little different, so stay tuned for that and the rest of my outfits this week!

Ps. I am literally living for this GANNI dress right now, it is the perfect length/fit/colour/cut – everyythang and I can’t imagine my life without it. I paired it with this yellow jacket from THE FIFTH (coming soon, will link on instagram when available, in the meantime I linked some similar options below) and my usual basket bag situation.
