Melbourne Central Denim Edit

In collaboration with MELBOURNE CENTRAL, I created a denim edit of all the colours, styles and patterns I currently love this season.

In continuation with my recent desire to create a more colourful wardrobe, I played around with different denim washes, and particularly got right around denim in blush pink/peachy tones (perfect for spring!). I love these tones paired back with either a white tee and blue denim, or complimentary colours with clashing patterns such as stripes or spots.

I also found myself gravitating towards interesting cuts of deconstructed denim. I love this skirt from General Pants and paired with a navy blue denim oversized shirt and mules; it makes for the perfect spring outfit. I also loved LEVIS’ take on a standard denim jacket this season, by cutting off the collar it creates a point of difference and more interest in the look.

Lastly, I couldn’t go past a standard double denim outfit. Paired with black boots and a stripey tee, this is always a go-to for me – a uniform of sorts. I love playing around with different shades, whether it is dark/white washed or medium denim – with denim, more is always more for me.
