A Guide To Life In Noosa

Over the weekend my boyfriend and I were given the opportunity to travel to Noosa for a few nights! We stayed at the luxurious SOFITEL NOOSA PACIFIC RESORT, located in the heart of Hastings Street, Noosa heads. With so many amazing things to do, eat and explore in Noosa, I thought I’d share with you how best to spend a day in one of my favourite places to relax in Australia.

7.00 AM

First things first, coffee. Waking up to this stunning beach/pool-side view at the SOFITEL NOOSA PACIFIC RESORT is almost all you need to get out of bed, but hey – a few caffeinated beverages don’t hurt either.

8.00 AM

Once you are sufficiently caffeinated, it is time to head down to the breakfast buffet at NOOSA BEACH HOUSE RESTAURANT. With literally every breakfast option you could possibly imagine available, I recommend trying one of everything… But really – their Nutella and strawberry crepes are where it is at. You. Are. Welcome.

9.00 AM

Next up it is time to head to THE CABANAS NOOSA. The stunningly chic interior of the cabanas create an ambience like no other. With sparkling and still water, fruit platters and a personal waiter all inclusive – this is seriously the place to be. Each cabana comes with its very own menu iPad, heater/cooling control and music so you can create whatever vibe you are feeling at the time. As, lets be honest, its never too early – feel free to get those alcoholic beverages flowing. The Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial and seafood platter was literally all the things.

2.00 PM

Although you quite literally never have to leave the hotel if you don’t want to, if you do feel like venturing out onto beautiful Hastings Street, there are a couple of stops I would recommend you make along the way.

If you’re feeling parched or want to temporarily feel as though you are in the South of France, head to AROMA’S for coffee/refreshments. They have the best daily juice selection!

If you are feeling at all peckish, look no further than BETTY’S BURGERS. With over 5 locations around Australia, this is literally the [burger] place to be. Aside from offering the best burgers ever known to (wo)man (no exaggeration… you must try them), their beach-vibe interior and selection of concrete (aka this amazing ice-cream situation you need to get right around) will knock your bikinis off.

5.00 PM

It is just about time to head to the beach and watch the sunset. May I recommend bringing with you a towel (unless you are into the whole sand-in-your-pants-thing) and a loved one because well, romance. Once you’ve gotten right around the beach, head back to your dreamy hotel room for golden hour on the balcony. I recommend ordering all the cheese/ charcuterie boards and taking all the insta-snaps for the mems.
