Jessica & Food

There is kind of only one thing I love more in life than fashion, whether my Italian roots have something to do with it – I’m not sure, but either way; it is food, brunch food, to be exact. The whole 9AM hustle, boyfriend jeans/sneakers/cozy-knit and minimal make-up outfit-situation followed by a cheeky little 20 minute wait in line for the hottest poached eggs in town… I’m just totally about it. Although typically a fashion blogger by nature, I can’t help but spend most of my days crossing brunch spots off my list of places-to-eat-at-ASAP (Jessica & Food?!). So with that in mind, I thought I’d share with you a couple of snaps from my most recent deliciously photogenic brunch situation.

After recently becoming acquainted with the Hood Food Guide aka a cool new video series highlighting the best food in each neighbourhood of Melbourne, hosted by top chefs & industry pros, I grabbed my one and only babe (Katarina – @inaeatsworld) and we ticked a new brunch-spot off our to-eat list. Journeyman Café – Melbourne brunch food at its finest. Eggs poached to perfection, avocado smeared and smashed just like it should be, and perfect outside dining/lighting for my Instagram feed. Indeed a must-visit.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE PLACES TO EAT IN MELBOURNE?! I’D LOVE TO HEAR YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS BELOW!

  1. Food and Fashion- best things in life 🙂 I went to Melbourne once and I remember it having very good food in general. One place that stood out was queen victoria market. I remember having one amazing sandwich there
