NASTY GAL SKIRT / JO MERCER BOOTS / ZARA TOP / VINTAGE HAT

WE MADE IT! Happy FriYAY EVERYONE! Time to relax, unwind, drink cocktails – (see last post for the best ones!), eat pizza, stop working at 4pm, etcetera, etcetera! AND what better way to wrap up the week then with a fresh new outfit collaboration with NASTY GAL. Ever since my early high school days, Nasty Gal has been my go-to online-shop for all things on trend at an affordable price point. As the 70s trend continues to somewhat take over my Instagram-feed, I was looking forward to playing around with the trend a bit, whilst still maintaining my own personal style. Wearing the Nasty Gal Electric Ladyland Suede Skirt, I added a black turtleneck for a. warmth, but mainly b. because I literally live for a good turtleneck*, an over-the-knee statement boot for outfit balance, and a black squared-off, structured hat for a wintery, festival-inspired twist. I waited for the perfect afternoon light on the perfect winter-sunshine day to compliment the moody, dreamy, carefree, somewhat effortless feel to the look.

I have a couple more looks featuring pieces from Nasty Gal, which I cannot wait to share with you! So stay tuned for more! Are you playing around with the 70s trend too? Let me know in the comments below!

* side note: as a child, my mum would dress me in a different turtleneck colour for every day of the week. I swear sometimes it wasn’t even winter… She also just really loves turtlenecks
