Am I A Hand Model Yet?

EMMA & ROE RINGSTOM FORD SUNGLASSES / SABA WHITE DENIM JEANS / H&M SHORT SHIRT / BARDOT LONG SHIRT

For a significant period of my childhood and early adolescence (… oh and perhaps some of my adult years too…), I was entirely infatuated with the idea of becoming a hand model. Although blessed with what others thought would be a great opportunity for me to learn piano or play basketball*, due to my long fingers, genetically well-groomed nails and somewhat large hands, for some reason my mind was still always set on hand modeling. Unfortunately for me, this potential career opportunity never really ‘took off’, in other words – I’m still waiting to be scouted, discovered – if you will (…if anyone knows anybody…?! Half kidding). But until my big break, I am free to conduct as many impromptu hand photo-shoots in my front garden as I please.

So today, pre-eating my body weight in food at Mothers Day lunch, I snapped these photographs in collaboration with the beautiful silver stack-ring collection from Emma & Roe. These rings really are, everything. So simple, so elegant, so chic and so stylish. Everything dainty jewellery and fine silver should be. I am entirely obsessed with the all white everything trend which has somewhat swept the Melbourne fashion scene as of late, and as it is getting colder – white shirt layering wasn’t even really an option. I added deep red nails to pop, and let these dainty silver necessities do the talking.

Happy Sunday EVERYONE!

    1. Thank you so much! I do put a lot of effort into it, so I am glad you can appreciate it 🙂 I will definitely check out your blog, thanks for letting me know. All the best, xx

  2. It works better when you don’t wait for others to scout you, just do it the other way round. 🙂 Nice hands and you can eat all you want probably without your hands becoming unusable for photography! Hurrah!
