CAMIXA DENIM SHIRT / ZARA DENIM JEANS / ZOMP SHOES / CHANEL BAG / H&M WHITE SHIRT
If you have ever woken up with a million places to go, people to see, a wardrobe filled with clothes but simply nothing to wear, then, please, take a seat – perhaps even grab yourself a warm cup-pa – because tonight’s blog post has been tailored entirely to your needs.
On days where I find myself in this, oh-so-regular, predicament, usually spurred on by the fact that looking good is EVERYTHING and without a perfect outfit I am NOTHING, I’m usually trying to create something really different, innovative, unique – rather than trying to create something that actually works. Like all things in life, good things will come to you when you least expect it – not when you are out there searching for it. This totally applies to outfits too. Some day’s fabulously flawless/unique/perfect/vogue-interview-ready outfits will just appear before your eyes and you’ll be ready to take on the world, one stylish footstep at a time, whereas other days – this just doesn’t seem to happen. SO, here is what to do:
STEP ONE: Remind yourself that you have an absolutely fabulous wardrobe filled with perfectly personalised pieces that you know, love and trust (…and have likely spent thousands of dollars on…), you have just temporarily forgotten how to put them all together
STEP TWO: Put your phone down. If you start jingling everyone asking them what they are wearing, you’ll not only be more confused than ever, you’ll hear that Cady Heron is wearing army pants and flip flops, so you’ll go out and buy army pants and flip flops*
STEP THREE: Actually consider where you are going – sometimes I work myself up into such a kafuffle, I end up entirely overdressed/underdressed, (…yet to rock up undressed, but really who knows).
STEP FOUR: Have a life changing epiphany, which has you realizing that the only reason JT & Britney wore double denim for majority of 2001 was because denim, simply goes with everything.
STEP FIVE: Do not, under any fashionable circumstance, underestimate the importance of denim in a wardrobe. It is timeless, chic and can always appear fashion-forward, regardless of the era.
STEP SIX: Grab a pair of flattering dark-denim skinny’s, a Camixa Italian made denim shirt, in a shade lighter to the jeans, a white, somewhat tailored, slightly longer shirt to create a point of difference, a black heel and a stylish (if possible, designer) bag.
STEP SEVEN: Leave your bedroom feeling like a proud parent knowing that, girl (or fantastically fashionable guy), you look FABULOUS!

PS: Whilst we are on the topic of Camixa shirts, I just realised mine has an inbuilt micro-fiber cloth on the bottom right corner which can be used to clean my sunglasses & iPhone… Yep, this shirt is never coming off.
